Package Pricing and Booking Terms
All standard packages are three nights. Check-in on Thursday and check-out on Sunday, giving you the perfect opportunity to experience the Kentucky Derby and the supporting festivities, as well as all that Louisville, Lexington, and the surrounding Bourbon Country have to offer. Additional nights may be added based on availability.
Packages are quoted per person and based on double room occupancy and Derby ticket level . Maximum room occupancy is four people. For larger families, or other custom room or lodging needs (i.e. single or triple occupancy), please contact our team and we will be happy to assist you. Derby Tickets: Seating Options
Our 2026 Kentucky Derby Tickets Packages include your choice of four excellent seating options for Derby tickets. The Derby is a full day of races, so which ticket level you choose will determine a lot about your Derby Day experience at the track. All food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are included in the ticket options below:
1st Floor Clubhouse (113-120): Open-air “boxes,” these are chairs arranged in groupings of six. They are located close to the finish line and close to all the action.
3rd Floor Grandstand (323-325, covered): The third floor offers a better, higher view of the track. These are chairs in groupings of six, arranged in open-air, railed-in “boxes.” In row C and higher, you will be covered and protected from rain or sun.
3rd Floor Clubhouse (314-322, covered): This area is located closer to the finish line and offers excellent people-watching. You have access to the Third Floor Clubhouse, which includes bars, betting windows, and a variety of concessions. These are chairs in groupings of six, arranged in open-air, railed-in “boxes.” In row C and higher, you will be covered and protected from rain or sun.
Turf Club (VIP, indoors): The Turf Club is ideal for guests seeking a premium, VIP experience. This area features a premium chef-curated buffet, premium bars, and an upscale atmosphere with celebrity sightings. These are indoor, climate-controlled seats with plenty of betting windows.

About the Holiday Inn Express: Stay in downtown Louisville and avoid paying a premium for larger hotels during the Derby. Combining modern hotel amenities with Southern hospitality, guests at the Holiday Inn Express will enjoy daily breakfast and convenient access to attractions on Main Street, like the Louisville Slugger museum.
About the Galt House Hotel, Louisville: Stay in the heart of downtown at Louisville’s only waterfront hotel along the banks of the Ohio River. Located just steps from 4th Street Live and all the top Louisville attractions, the Galt House is conveniently located next to the KFC YUM! Booking Options & Terms
Bookings & Payment Plans: For balances not paid in full at the time of booking, a deposit plus a payment plan will be required. Payment plans require a minimum $250 deposit per person at the time of booking and the remaining balance will be split into monthly, interest-free payments with the final balance due 90 days prior to the event date. All payment plans must remain active and in good standing until balances are paid in full. MyBucketListEvents reserves the right to cancel any booking that has a payment plan that is more than 30 days past due. No refunds will be given for past due cancellations.
Booking Conditions: MyBucketListEvents offers event tickets and travel packages with a variety of travel services including, but not limited to, tickets, accommodations, transportation services, meals, excursions, special event access, trip planning, and on ground support. MyBucketListEvents works with many vendors and suppliers to fulfill the travel package components, and in some cases, and due to a variety of reasons, there are delays, rescheduled events, and other unforeseen circumstances causing changes to package components. The customer acknowledges that MyBucketListEvents cannot be held financially liable for such circumstances and changes. If deemed necessary, MyBucketListEvents reserves the right to change the booked lodging/hotel to a lodging/hotel of similar quality and value.The customer assumes complete and full responsibility for all required travel documents, including passport, visas, entry or exit fees, and vaccinations and is solely responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from incomplete or defective documentation. Travel insurance is not included but highly recommended and is the responsibility of the customer. Our experience with Ben and Bucket List Events at the Kentucky Derby was absolutely amazing! Ben’s attention to detail was commendable. This experience exceeded all of expectations! Everything was planned, well thought out and executed.

Our Kentucky Derby weekend couldn’t have been more perfect! The accommodations were great, the horse farm and bourbon distillery tours were an absolute blast, and the Barnstable party was one of the best we’ve ever been to. It was a weekend full of fun, laughter, and memories we’ll never forget.

It was my first time to go to the Kentucky Derby and it was amazing!! Thank you so much to Ben, who was our coordinator. He answered all our questions and anticipated many of them with great detailed instructions. We did the add on excursion of visiting a horse farm and bourbon distillery and I’m so glad we did. Also, the Barnstable Brown party on Friday night was so fun and derby was perfect!! This was one of the best experiences of my life. It was my first Derby, but definitely not my last!! Make sure you use these guys to plan your trip. It will be first class all the way!!
Our Kentucky Derby experience was perfect. It started with setting up the trip. Brian made it easy and gave many helpful suggestions. Then Ben took over in Louisville. Welcoming us on Thursday and making sure we had everything we needed. Derby Day went off without a hitch. Ben made sure we knew what to expect at the track and later checked on us at our box to assure all was well. We asked for everything when we planned this trip and Bucket List Events delivered. We would not hesitate to use Bucket List Events for any of our adventures.
The guys at Bucket List Events were great. Complete professionals that made the entire experience extremely special. I would 100% use them if I returned to the derby or any other bucket list event I plan in the future.

Our trip to the Kentucky Derby was absolutely incredible, thanks in large part to the expert planning and hospitality of Ben from Bucket List Events. From start to finish, everything was seamless, enjoyable, and memorable. On Friday, we had the pleasure of touring a beautiful horse farm and an iconic Kentucky distillery. The horse farm tour gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the world of thoroughbreds, with knowledgeable guides and a chance to see some truly majestic animals up close. The distillery stop was equally impressive—filled with history, craftsmanship, and, of course, some delicious tastings. Derby Day was the highlight, and our Club Level seats made it an extraordinary experience. The view of the track was fantastic, and the amenities in the Club section made the day comfortable and luxurious. The energy and pageantry of the Derby are unlike anything else, and being able to take it all in from such premium seats made it even more special. Ben was a fantastic host—friendly, organized, and always available to ensure everything ran smoothly. We never had to worry about logistics; we could just relax and enjoy. We can’t recommend Bucket List Events enough for anyone looking to experience the Kentucky Derby in style. This was truly a bucket-list trip come to life!
