Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
– Itinerary –

It’s time to check another trip off that bucket list of yours.  Imagine three nights in New York City to experience the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, one of the biggest holiday traditions, up close and personal and as a VIP.  Throw in a Broadway show, tickets to see the world famous Radio City Rockettes, and time to explore this magical city and you end up with an experience your family will be talking about for years.

Day One

Welcome to New York City

With three convenient airports serving New York City, you may fly into JFK, LGA (Laguardia) or EWR (Newark).  After a short drive you’ll be in the city in no time.  We recommend arriving before 3pm in order to join us for our first evening.   Upon arrival, you will get the chance to settle in and explore the surrounding area.   Make plans to meet our team and learn about the itinerary and logistics for the following days.  This evening is also the perfect time to walk over to Balloon Inflation Celebration.  Every Thanksgiving eve, people gather to watch their favorite balloons come to life.  You’ll have until 8pm to wander the streets next to the American Museum of Natural History and get a rare glimpse of what you’ll see marching down the streets toward you the following morning.  This is not to be missed.  Once you are finished experiencing the Balloon Inflation, the remainder of the evening is spent at your leisure.  Maybe you want to grab dinner on the Upper East Side, stroll through Times Square, or catch a late show.  Enjoy your night in NYC and we will see you early tomorrow morning.

Day Two

Happy Thanksgiving – It’s Parade Time!

Wake to the sounds of the city on one of the most anticipated days of the year.   It’s parade day!  On your first morning in the city, we will gather in the lobby of your hotel at 7 am to walk to the VIP Parade Brunch and viewing space.  We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather conditions and wearing comfortable shoes.  Upon our arrival, you will have a guaranteed seat indoors with a dedicated area outdoors to view the parade.  A gourmet  breakfast, brunch, and lunch will be continually served and your choice of beverages will be offered throughout the morning.  Enjoy the next several hours creating memories with your family.  You are finally seeing this parade, which you have been watching on TV for years, march right in front of you.  The smiles are almost guaranteed.  At 11:00 am the parade and brunch come to an end.  We recommend exploring Central Park or near by areas as you wish.  Maybe take a nap and rest up because we will meet back in the lobby of your hotel to walk over to Radio City Music Hall.  We have arranged for our guests to attend the Christmas Spectacular starring the world famous Radio City Rockettes.  You will enjoy orchestra seats and leave full of holiday spirit.  Your evening can be spent on your own.  It’s been a long day, so maybe you want to get an early night sleep at your luxurious hotel or maybe it’s time for a slice of NYC pizza.  Whatever you decide, remember it’s the city that never sleeps, so your options are endless.
