Lodging options

We have found that hotels located within the party areas are often congested and sleep is hard to find, not to mention significantly more expensive. Our 4-Star hotel, the AC Ciudad, is a Marriott property located less than a mile away from the heart of the festivities, but far enough away that uninterrupted slumber is obtainable.

The hotel features a large lobby complete with a bar and public computers, as well as complimentary wi-fi. There is also a gym on site for those that need that last second lift to take on the bulls. Our guides meet you and your party in the lobby of the hotel for every scheduled event to make sure you get to where you need to be on time.

The event of the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain has been on my Bucket List, since I was stationed in Sarajevo, Bosnia back in 1998. Due to timing problems, I never made it to the event.

Then I found BuckListEvents com on line, and after doing some research, I signed up with them. What a great decision on my part. Toby Akins, and his great team organized the whole experience for me (and the others who signed up).

I have to admit that I was apprehensive about getting down on the street and actual running with live bulls. Here is how Toby arranges the experience. I arrived at the hotel in the morning, and I had until 3pm to walk around and sight see Pamplona. At 3pm, I was met in the hotel lobby by the guides (who warmly introduced themselves to me), and given my packet (including my cool Run with the Bulls t-shirt). At 6am the next morning, we walked to an apartment overlooking the street where the bulls ran each morning. So, I got to see from above what the actual run looked like. There were other guests in the apartment, who had been there before the previous morning. Today, they were running. Today, I was observing. After the run, some of the runners came back up, and we were able to discuss their experiences, and I picked up some tips.

That afternoon, Toby, and some of the guides took us on the walk of the entire run that had been held each morning. I got to view what it looked like from the street view.

The next morning, we were again escorted back to the apartment, and at 7:50am, I walked down the stairs from the apartment, and out unto the road.

The rocket sounded at 8:00, and a wall of runners started coming down from the direction of the bulls. I started running, whooping it up with the other runners. Soon the bulls were running past, and then they disappeared towards the bull arena. It is a fast experience.

What a rush. Toby and his team make all the arrangements, and we just have to show up to-participate and enjoy. It is a truly professional and well-coordinated endeavor. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. Thank you Toby and Kasey, Kelly, Thecla, LeRae, Fatima and Adrienne for making our trip to Pamplona one worthy of going into the record books.

Once again Toby and his team absolutely delivered an unforgettable experience. This is the second time we have used this organization and they continue to impress. My friends and I had the pleasure of experiencing the Running of the Bulls festival with Bucket List Events this year and I would easily do it again.

The festival itself is such an amazing time, with the whole town constantly buzzing with high energy and good times. If anyone is thinking of going, please go-go as soon as you can, and when you do use Bucket List Events. They had access to some of the best viewing points of the bull runs and arranged the most fun activities in the evenings.

Besides the festival what made this trip an amazing time was the relentless attention to detail and service provided by Toby and his staff. They are all friendly and helpful and they make you feel like you're on vacation with old friends. They make themselves available day or night and they go above and beyond any expectations you might have. In addition to Toby- who is fantastic, we spent a lot of time with Casey, Kelly, and Techla. Words can't justify how much fun we had with these ladies, what a great crew. Fatima, Adrien, and LaRae are also so friendly and helpful to any and everything you need.

I could go on all day about what a great time with had with everyone, so if you have a chance to have a Bucket List Events experience-take it.

The Pamplona Bucket List Event experience was fantastic from start to finish. Starting months before Toby sent information and guides to help you plan, prepare, and of the history of the San Fermin Festival.

The hotel in Pamplona was very comfortable and the away from the craziness going on in the Plaza. We were greeted immediately by friendly enthusiastic people. Our schedule was perfect allowing plenty of free time. The staff was awesome!!! They even found out where we could buy a replacement suitcase for our son as well as bringing him ice packs after he had a “run in” with a bull after his second run that week.

Even though we booked the midweek experience for Pamplona there were people who only had a day or two weaving in and out throughout the week. I was impressed with how Bucket List Event’s was able accommodate them and to give them a full experience.

While there are many ways to get to the 2020 Summer Games, there is only one official ticket provider for each country. You will need to find the official Summer Games tickets agency for your country, as we are not the authorized seller.

We are in no way affiliated or associated with the IOC, the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the 2020 Summer Games, Jet Set Sports or CoSport. We recommend you bookmark and subscribe to the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games official site at www.tokyo2020.jp.

There you’ll be able to keep up to date for official ticket release dates. Our packages do not and cannot contain tickets, but our 2020 Summer Games travel packages do include assistance with the process of acquiring tickets. The 2022 Beijing Winter Games will mark the first time one city has hosted both a Summer Games (2008) and Winter Games (2022). With the infrastructure already laid and the determination to outdo themselves, you can bet that Beijing in 2022 will be a legendary host.

The 2022 Winter Games will be spread throughout three cities in north eastern China: Beijing, Yanqing, Zhangjiakou. The logistics of arranging the tickets, accommodation and ground transport for such an event can be harrowing if ‘going it alone’, to say the least (we tried!). When we found out about Bucket List Events they made it entirely stress-free. Tickets to the 2022 Qatar World Cup matches can only be purchased through official FIFA channels. As a third-party tour operator, our travel packages cannot and do not include tickets. Tickets for World Cup matches are sold by FIFA on both a random-draw and first-come-first-served basis. Prices generally range from about $100 t0 $1100 USD, depending on the match and seating class.

Why You Want to Go

Though the French Open is the smallest of the four Grand Slam tournaments, it is widely considered to be the most grueling. The clay courts slow the ball down considerably compared with grass or hard courts, meaning that the players need to hit harder and move faster. This adds an element of surprise to the tournament, where players who usually perform excellently on other courts may find themselves unprepared to keep up at Roland Garros. History is made time and time again at this hugely exciting tournament.

As would be natural in its Parisian setting, the French Open is also one of the world’s most fashion-conscious tennis tournaments. Players and spectators alike put in extra effort to look très chic, making the stadium an excellent place for people watching.

History and Locale of the French Open

The French Open began in 1891. It is held in the Stade Roland-Garros, named after a famed French aviator of the same name. The historic pilot was the first man to cross the Mediterranean in a plane, and died in combat in WWI. Though Roland Garros was not a tennis player, he was nick-named “the Ace” for being the first aviator to shoot down five enemy planes. The Stadium was constructed and named in his honor in 1928. Its largest court seats nearly 15,000 spectators.

The Stade Roland-Garros is located in the southern section of the Bois de Boulogne in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The complex is accessible by Métro and bus, as well as by a seasonal taxi service that runs with greater frequency during the French Open. All visitors traveling with Bucket List Events are guaranteed transportation assistance during the events.

There are only two ways to legally purchase tickets to the French Open: through the official Roland Garros website, or through official French Open VIP and corporate hospitality agencies.  Ticket sales open to the public on March 22. It is important to purchase tickets ahead of time, as no tickets will be available for purchase at the stadium itself before or during the tournament. Every four years, the eyes of the nation look towards Washington, DC for the Presidential Inauguration. As one of the most prominent and historical events of American history, it’s truly a bucket list event to check of your list.

  • This is hosted by the Texas Society.  It’s like the other big balls, but the only one that happens the night before the swearing-in.
  • Typically starts at 7 PM at Gaylord National Resort

Day 2: Wed Jan 20, 2021: Swearing-In Ceremony

  • The official ceremonies of Inauguration Day start around noon on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol with the vice president-elect and president-elect taking the Oaths of Office. The inaugural address follows.
  • These are the ticket options for the swearing-in ceremony:
