Mount Fuji Packages Itinerary

Day 1: Your journey begins in Tokyo at Shinjuku Station for your morning departure to Kawaguchiko Station, where you’ll meet your local guide. Then eat lunch at a local café with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji before taking a nature walk (known as shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing”) through the Aoki Jukai Forest. Here you can see a natural cave and walk the Saiko Wildbird Forest Park and Iyashino Sato, an ancient Japanese village. In the evening, retire to your lake house bed and breakfast accommodations, where you will have dinner and a relaxing evening. Meals included: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: After breakfast, you’ll tour a sake brewery and taste the national drink of Japan, then visit the Mt. Fuji Tainai Tree Mold. Next you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at Arakurayama Sengen Park and a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji. Finish the afternoon at the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station and take in spectacular views of Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Yamanaka, and the Japanese Alps. Afterwards, check-in to your resort and experience a multi-course kaiseki dinner. Spend the rest of the evening as you like, though we suggest a soak in the on-site onsen (natural hot springs). Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Enjoy breakfast on your final morning before your departure and bus ride to the airport. You’ll take the express bus from Kawaguchiko Station back to Haneda or Narita Airport, depending on your afternoon or evening international flight departure. The bus ride is approximately 3 hours to the airport, so we recommend planning departure flights for after 1:00 P.M. Meals included: Breakfast
