Augusta hotels – Where to Stay

If you are coming to Augusta for the Masters, then you will need a place to stayAugusta is the second largest city in Georgia, but choosing from Augusta hotels can be a challenge, especially during the Masters when availability is scarce and prices are high.  There are no true 5-star Augusta hotels, but an abundance of 3-star and lower options.  Luckily, we can help you narrow down your choice of Augusta hotels to the one that best suits your Masters bucket list experience.

Masters Housing Options

Perrin House with onsite hospitality (meals included)

Augusta hotels

About 1 mi. from Augusta National. Hospitality is on-site.

Perrin Guest House Bed & Breakfast $1050 per room, per night
Our top choice of hotels in Augusta, The Perrin House was built in 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, as the main residence for a cotton plantation.  The plantation’s original tract eventually became the Augusta National, home of The Masters, while the three remaining acres still recall that bygone era.  The Perrin Home and adjacent Guest House have wrap-around porches and rocking chairs to relax among the pine trees, azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolias.  The rooms are quite large and expertly furnished with antiques. The Perrin House is also the location of our dining program, making it the most convenient option if you are looking for turn-key service at the Masters. There are only 12 bedrooms on property, so it sells out very quickly.  There is a two night minimum at this property and all Masters guests must participate in the dining program for breakfast and dinner.

Hilton Home 2 Suites

Hilton Home2 Suites  $950 per room, per night
One of the highest rated hotels in Augusta, the Hilton Home 2 Suites is clean and very close to the action.  All rooms come with wifi, a living area with an additional  sofa bed, and a full kitchenette.  We like this Augusta hotel because it is very close to the Augusta National golf course, and also to the Perrin House, which helps you avoid the traffic you might find with other hotels in Augusta.

Local Private Residences

Great for groups of four or more

A longstanding Augusta tradition for golfers and patrons alike, local residents offer up their homes to those visiting for the tournament. Bucket List Events has forged friendships with local families who are gracious enough to let us occupy their properties for the week. All properties are located in and around the city of Augusta, and are exclusive to members.

Please note that there is a 2 night minimum for private residences. Private shuttle service via 11 person van is available for $25 per person, per day.

Typically 4 BR, 3.5 BA $1,800 per night for the entire house

  • Dedicated van & driver to shuttle you around the greater Augusta area – $450 per day for a group of 8 or less
  • Airport Pickup from Augusta Regional Airport – $75 per trip

Other amenities during Masters Week

Local Golf Excursions

We have access to some amazing golf resorts in the area, including the Old Augusta Country Club (Bobby Jones’ original home course that sits adjacent to Rae’s Creek) and our personal favorite, Sage Valley Country Club which some say is just as beautiful as Augusta National. The cost varies by course and often require a foursome. Only available to our hospitality guests.
